About Ananya
As a passionate psychology tutor, I am dedicated to helping students excel in their academic journey. As a tutor, my approach is centered around fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment. I believe that understanding psychology requires not only looking at theoretical concepts but also being able to apply them to real-world situations.
I employ a mix of visual aids, discussion-based learning, and practical examples to help you understand and retain information. My style of learning is active, not passive, and focuses on deep-level understanding of psychological phenomena.
A typical lesson plan will include 10-15 minutes of revision, 30-40 minutes of active learning and end with 5-10 minutes of games/memory enhancing challenges/
What sets me apart is that I focus on making complex topics relatable and digestible in a non-traditional and personal way, and also have experience with research in many fields of psychology and can provide insights on how psychological theories are applied in real-life studies and experiments. I am committed to the belief that every student is different and my tutoring style will reflect that.
My tutoring is aimed at undergraduate students studying psychology, especially those in introductory courses or those preparing for exams. I also offer support to students who are new to psychology or need help understanding research methodologies and data analysis within the field. I can also help students write reports in the field of psychology.
