About Emma
Hello there,
My name is Emma and I have recently graduated with a BA honours in English Literature and Drama. These are two subjects which I have always been passionate about since my earliest days at secondary school. I decided to study these subjects at university as I feel they really go hand in hand and I feel you can't have one without the other!They are subjects which allow you to think creativity and engage with a spectrum of texts from the past and present. Whenever I have found it difficult to understand a text in English, whether that's the language or emotion behind it I have used Drama to lift the words off the paper turning it from something two dimensional to a performance! Since a young girl I have always wanted to become an English teacher because I believe it is the one subject that broadens the mind, develops emotional skills and overall improves communication which are fundamental skills to exist in the world. Not only this, I am passionate about unlocking the true potential of all my students so that they can be the very best version of themselves. I hope this gives a little insight of who I am and my approach to teaching. I hope to work with you soon!

-Flexible teaching style as I do not feel that teaching is a 'one size fits all' approach. Therefore I will incorporate plenty of unique learning resources which are vibrant and engaging.
- Lessons are flexible but will last approximately 1 hour.
- I have had experience teaching KS3/KS4 in a secondary school. However, I have the ability to teach A-Level.
