About Alex
I have completed my studies in translation and interpreting in a combination of English/Slovak: I chose this study because I have enjoyed the aforementioned languages since childhood. During my studies, I helped with the translation of my supervisor's book (in Slovak translation: A. Reynolds - Skaza) and worked on the translation of subtitles for the One World Film Festival. I am interested in language didactics, but I am focused on present, modern times and especially youth. With Slovak, I mainly enjoy learning literature in a different form (not the period - the author of the work, but rather why do you think this work is important and are you learning about it? - let's talk about it), with English I add translation (a few examples from practice, mainly audiovisual) and communication about life in general, since active speaking skills are a nightmare when learning a foreign language

The lessons are interactive, I use digital tools (applications, tools) and authentic materials (videos, real texts). In the introductory lesson, we will talk about the issue we will focus on (what you are doing better, worse, where to gain or lose in tutoring). Then I will develop a study plan that we will follow - you will agree on it. Then, during the lessons, we will focus on a point from the study plan (lesson, test, exam, interviews...)
