About Rachele
Hi everyone, my name is Rachele and I'm 24 years old. I live and study in China, in Zhengzhou, in the province of Henan, but due to Covid19 in mid-January, I had to return to my hometown: Milan. Here, I am carrying out my master's studies in Tourism Management at Zhengzhou University daily, but I am also trying to earn something to support myself, offering private lessons to adults and children. In fact, in this sector, I have a fairly rich background of experience. First of all, I graduated from Psycho-socio-pedagogical high school, Gaetana Agnesi, and graduated in INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION, at the University of Milan Bicocca. Besides, I have several years of teaching behind me: Italian, English, and Chinese. I worked for several families as an au pair abroad and as a tutoring teacher, and at some Italian language schools and Chinese cultural and cultural associations in Milan as a teacher. I consider myself a mature girl, responsible, and quite demanding as a teacher. I appreciate it very much when my students are receptive, curious to discover the world and its various languages. The methodology I use is based on an active and inclusive teaching method: I believe it is important to offer the possibility of having a lively, participatory and stimulating learning environment for both the adult and the learning child. This didactic method favors two types of learning: "cooperative learning" that arises from the laboratory experience, places the student at the center of the process, enhancing his skills and his personal experience, and through suggestions from the teacher, it is guided to effective learning of new languages or subjects. While, also using the technique of "role-playing" which consists of simulating the behaviors and attitudes generally adopted in real life, the student, or students, will have the opportunity to identify themselves in situations. The learning will have structured sequences and will end with a verification of the material studied during the lesson. This teaching is therefore based on the needs of the individual who learns, promotes collaborative learning, and allows the development of specific skills. Thanks to the lessons (which can also be held in classrooms, via Zoom or Google Meet), the student, or students, will be able to work together with me, teacher, and will promote meaningful and contextualized learning.
