About Anna
I am a Chinese language student, always fascinated by oriental cultures. In particular, the area of my greatest interest is the humanistic one, in fact I like to reconnect some aspects of the study of grammar and words to Chinese history and culture, even in its most modern expressions such as neologisms created by the world of the internet or from mass fads such as famous movies or TV series.
I studied Chinese at the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree, and I attended courses to obtain the HSKK (intermediate level) and HSK level 5 language certifications at the Confucius Institute of Macerata.
I have been doing tutoring for students who need it for a year. All you need is curiosity, passion and open-mindedness to start embarking on a fascinating journey through the Chinese language and culture.

I have always felt I want to offer a different approach from purely mnemonic and repetitive learning in the study of the Chinese language and culture. It is a question of entering into a logic of thought that opens the mind and the gaze on a millenary culture of which language is the full expression.
At the beginning of the lesson we usually try to understand the pupil's needs (clarifications, review, strengthening, etc ...), after which we will observe together the topics that we want to address and the difficulties related to them. We will also deal with the issues by dwelling on the less clear passages whenever necessary and resolving one by one all doubts that may arise, always referring to examples of all kinds. Finally we will concentrate on carrying out some practical exercises to consolidate what we have learned.
I propose to address the topics in such a way as to give priority to the full understanding of the contents made rather than to the quantity of issues touched upon.
My repetitions are aimed at those who attend high school, university (three-year degree) and anyone interested in approaching the Chinese language and culture.
