About Vincent
After obtaining a baccalaureate (high honors) at the Lycée Français de Bruxelles, I did all of my higher studies at Sciences Po Paris, including a year of exchange, enriching culturally and linguistically, at the University of Colorado, USA. During my license (bachelor), I studied a variety of social sciences: mainly political science, history, economics and sociology. At the same time, I trained in literature. Subsequently, during my master's degree, I specialized in political philosophy. Freshly graduated, I prepare for the teaching competitions. Having given private lessons during the last years in Paris, I wish to continue this year in Brussels.

For the sake of pragmatism, my method in the context of private lessons is not inflexible and adapts according to the needs and level of my student. I count on establishing a frank and cordial relationship with my student in order to calmly discuss their expectations regarding the course. I think that learning is only really effective within the framework of a constructive and sincere dialogue between the pupil and the teacher. Being my student must be an instructive experience because it is demanding, but pleasant because it is based on a friendly dialogue. Regarding the methodology, I always try to lead my pupil towards the solution of the problems with which his studies confront him by the exercise of his own faculties, by helping him only in an implicit way: rather than giving him the answer, he s he always acts for me to distill clues which will allow him to construct his own intellectual reasoning and to arrive at the solution. As a teacher, it is never the answer that interests me, but the different stages of reasoning that lead to the answer.
