About Paula
I have experience with both children and adults. I have helped prepare official tests for the Police Corps and the Civil Guard. Also official tests in English (KET, PET, FIRST and ADVANCED) and in French (DELF and DALF). With the children I help with the subjects taught in English (mathematics, social sciences, biology, history). I also help with the Business English for Professionals and Legal English certifications.

My methodology is based on two fundamental pillars; the theoretical part and the practical part. Each student is unique, so for me, it is essential to know their weak points and know how to reinforce them. In languages we start from the four practice branches (oral, reading, listening and writing) every day. I place special emphasis on the oral part, always trying to speak in the language I am teaching. I also help to prepare official tests. A typical class begins with a little conversation (about 5 or 10 minutes) then exercises of the parts to be practiced in blocks are started. For example, if one day we give an hour of class, we will spend 10 minutes talking exclusively in the language to be taught, 20 in block I (written comprehension, for example) another 20 in block II (listening comprehension) and the remaining 10 doing conversation exercises (I'll ask you to describe a photo, tell me a situation or simulate a call or interview). In the middle of the quarter we will have small evaluative drills and we will propose objectives to improve for the next quarter. My classes are suitable for both children (I have experience of 3 years with children from 8 to 17 years old) and for adults.
