About Elena

Hi! I'm a Spanish tutor with a degree in English Studies and a Master's degree in Teacher Training. I currently work as a Spanish language assistant in a secondary school in Ireland, where I help students improve their Spanish communication skills.
I enjoy teaching languages and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. My lessons are friendly, interactive and adapted to each student's level, needs and goals.
Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, practise grammar, expand your vocabulary or prepare for an exam, I'm here to help you learn Spanish in a relaxed and supportive environment.
I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and enjoy learning Spanish!

About the lesson

My classes focus mainly on developing students’ oral communication skills in Spanish. I use a communicative and student-centred approach, encouraging students to speak as much Spanish as possible in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The lessons usually include warm-up questions, guided conversations, vocabulary practice and activities related to everyday topics, such as holidays, family, hobbies, school and daily routines.
I adapt the activities to students’ language levels and needs. I encourage them to express their opinions, ask and answer questions, and practise different tenses, especially when preparing for their oral exams.
