I like to start by getting an idea of what you know first and help my students make connections with their prior knowledge to develop their understanding of a subject. I use personal examples and relevant topics to engage my student. I also like to utilize game based and hands on learning strategies. My lessons would be for a K-5 student who just needs extra help to really grasp the concept.
