I also like to share my success stories with students and with parents if applicable. I set clear expectations up front, and I also paraphrase my students' concerns and ask clarifying questions to show engagement. My tone with my students is always respectful and non-judgmental. My dress is appropriate and I am always punctual. My record keeping and tech preparedness are on point. It is important to build confidence through normalizing mistakes, and to celebrate each micro success.

We will undoubtedly have a lot of fun. One of the things I like to do is to use storytelling to make scientific concepts relatable and memorable. I frame lessons as stories—either real-life accounts of scientists and discoveries or fictional narratives illustrating scientific processes. Storytelling helps students emotionally connect with the material and better retain complex ideas
