About Floyd
I've been a tutor for over 5 years. With a previous Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I'm currently working on studying for a Master's in Electrical Engineering.
My tutoring experience ranges from individual students on a one-on-one basis, to multiple students in a classroom setting. I've assisted a number of students from raising low or failing grades to passing (or excelling) marks.
My experience lies heavily in Visual Arts, Mathematics, and Physics topics.

My teaching style depends on your learning style! If something isn't working, I work to change it.
My general approach is to take my time during explanation of the material and then go through individual example problems together. Sometimes I'll ask you to answer a question or two, but I don't like putting too excessive pressure on my students.
We also may go over your homework or exam prep together. This is helpful for learning what you need to know, when you need to know it.
I love teaching all ages, but my most significant experience is in the middle school to adult range. Some of my favorite subjects to teach are 2D Animation, Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus I and II, and Differential Equations.
