About Sanjida
Hello! My name is Sanjida, and I’ve always had a deep love for psychology and how the mind works. That passion has shaped my approach as both a learner and a tutor, because I truly believe teaching and learning go hand in hand. For me, education is not just about sharing knowledge — it’s about inspiring confidence and helping students recognize their own potential. As a tutor, I bring patience, empathy, and enthusiasm into every lesson. I know that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit individual needs and create a space where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to make learning less overwhelming and more empowering, so students not only grasp the material but also gain lasting confidence. My teaching style is all about meeting students where they are. I know what it feels like to struggle with a subject or to feel like you’re “not getting it,” so I try to make lessons feel safe, encouraging, and personal. I break things down into simple steps, use real-life examples when I can, and always remind my students that mistakes are part of the learning process. For me, teaching isn’t just about transferring knowledge — it’s about building confidence and helping someone believe in themselves.
A typical lesson with me usually starts by going over what we learned last time, just to refresh the memory and see if anything still feels confusing. Then, we dive into new material together. I like to explain things clearly, check in often to make sure my student is following along, and give plenty of space for questions. We practice together, work through examples, and I encourage them to try on their own so they feel more independent. By the end, I summarize the key points and give a small, manageable task so progress continues even outside the lesson.
What makes me different as a tutor is my patience and my genuine care for my students’ growth. I don’t just want them to pass an exam or finish an assignment — I want them to truly understand and feel confident. I adjust my lessons to fit their personality and pace, so they never feel left behind. Seeing a student go from frustrated to proud of themselves is honestly the most rewarding part of tutoring for me, and it’s why I love what I do.
