About Ksenija
Special Education Teacher – Defectologist (Oligophrenologist)
I work with children with autism, intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. I graduated from the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation in Belgrade, majoring in Special Education and Rehabilitation of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. I am currently completing my master’s degree. I am a teacher at Secondary vocational school in Belgrade, working with children with developmental challenges. I also lead workshops and individual treatments for children aged 8–10 with typical development and learning disabilities, focusing on speed reading, memory, and effective learning strategies. Additionally, I have experience teaching adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, helping them improve memory, learning techniques, and cognitive skills. My approach is based on patience, empathy, and creating a safe, encouraging environment where every child feels understood and supported. Through individualized activities, I help children strengthen communication, attention, independence, and social skills. My mission is to inspire growth, joy, and confidence, and to help every child discover their unique abilities and shine.
I also believe in strong collaboration with parents, because only together can we ensure the best support and progress for each child.
