About Serena
I am 25 years old and I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2020 with a 2:1 BA in Philosophy and Theology. I also completed an MSc in Applied Custodial Leadership in 2023 and I did this whilst working full-time and studying part-time. I have great advice for managing your time effectively.
I am new to tutoring but I am conscientious and will only tutor someone if I know that I can offer them the best help they can get. I am dedicated to providing the highest quality service and my experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate means study means that I am well-equipped to help people with essays, a general understanding of certain topics and also time management.
To get into the University of Oxford for an undergraduate degree was a rigorous process and having done it in 2017/2018 I would also love to help people who need advice about submitting University applications and prepping for interviews/tests.

I will plan our lessons based on the areas that you want to work on. I believe in working methodically and building confidence and understanding in areas that you feel nervous about. To get the most out of a session I think it needs to be 45 minutes - 1 hour in length but I am aware that this can sometimes mean people lose focus. Therefore, I will focus on making sure the lesson is broken up into digestible chunks and none of it is wasted.
I can tutor any level up to undergraduate and I completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford in Philosophy and Theology in 2020.
I also have an MSc in Applied Custodial Leadership which I completed in 2023 and so have acquired many study techniques and knowledge along the way.
