About Amah
Teaching is, therefore, a complex profession because its success takes into account several parameters, including the attitude of the teacher himself, the attitude towards the pupils, the parents of the pupils, his colleagues, and his attitude toward the subject matter. The teacher must be an exemplary person. He or She is the first reflection of the rules. How do you explain to a student that punctuality is a fundamental rule for success in school and life when you are late all the time? The personality of the teacher is indeed an essential criterion for successful teaching. Students find a kind, caring, attentive, and enthusiastic teacher more interesting. However, I
think that the teacher as an educator must know how to set the rules and enforce them. The kindness he shows should not lead to breaking the rules.

Teaching is, for me, more than a job, an art. I always compare teaching to artistic practice for
several reasons. The first is that these two disciplines require knowledge and mastery in a field. The second is that just as art deserves to be learned despite predispositions, it is essential to be an effective teacher to understand what teaching is and how to teach. In addition to these two factors, I would add that art, like teaching, is nourished by passion. Without passion, I imagine that a teacher will tire his class and his students very quickly of all the teaching constraints.
