About Anna
Hi, I'm Anna! I'm currently a future trainee solicitor at a top 25 UK law firm in London. Before that, I studied Psychology at the University of Exeter and then completed my law conversion course. I also went to grammar school after passing the 11+, so I know first-hand what it's like to work towards competitive exams and push yourself academically.
I've always enjoyed learning and understanding how people think, which is one of the reasons I chose Psychology. My route into law has also taught me how important it is to stay organised, think critically, and communicate clearly, skills I now enjoy helping others develop too.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me out on a run, playing tennis, trying out new recipes, or catching up with friends and family. I love meeting new people and like to bring that same friendly, relaxed energy into my lessons. I know that learning can feel stressful at times, so I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building your confidence without feeling judged.
Everyone learns differently, and I genuinely enjoy finding the approach that works best for each student. My goal isn't just to help you get better grades, but to make lessons enjoyable and help you feel more confident in your own ability.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I believe that the most effective teaching combines clear explanations with active engagement, so I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop confidence in applying their knowledge rather than simply memorising content.
I believe learning should be enjoyable, not intimidating. I like to think outside the box by using creative explanations, real-world examples, memory techniques, and interactive discussions to make challenging topics easier to understand. Rather than relying solely on memorisation, I focus on helping students develop a deeper understanding of the subject, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process. I strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves.
Each lesson begins by identifying the student's strengths and areas for improvement before working through concepts in a clear and structured way. We will tackle exam-style questions, refine revision strategies, and develop the critical thinking skills needed to achieve top grades. Regular feedback and personalised guidance ensure that students can clearly see their progress and continue improving.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required, particularly during exam preparation.
