About Jiahua
During my undergraduate studies, I systematically studied Chinese language teacher education, which not only laid a solid foundation in Chinese knowledge, but also passed the national Mandarin proficiency test and obtained a Level 2 certificate in Mandarin. This means that I can provide you with standard and standardised Chinese pronunciation demonstrations, helping you avoid pronunciation errors from the introductory stage and lay a solid foundation in phonetics. In addition to my professional studies, I have also had valuable teaching experience: I worked as a Chinese language intern teacher in a domestic middle school, responsible for teaching Chinese language classes and providing after-school tutoring for first-year students. This experience truly allowed me to step into the classroom and learn how to transform professional Chinese knowledge into easy to understand teaching content - such as using interesting stories to explain classical Chinese vocabulary, and using interactive games to help students master the usage of polyphonic characters; It also made me understand the importance of "teaching according to students' aptitude": when facing students with different learning rhythms, we should flexibly adjust teaching methods, patiently guide students who dare not speak up to express themselves, and timely help students who are confused answer questions.
