About Nicole
My degree in mathematics and my certification from the best teaching college in the nation has helped shape me into the enthusiastic and passionate teacher I am today. In my first year of teaching, I had the privilege of teaching middle school and high school mathematics. As a prior math teacher for middle school and high school students, I have an array of different lessons, quizzes, tests, etc. that have been created by me to meet the specific needs of my students. I have even received coursework from my University professors who were invested in my success as an educator.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and graduated from the College of Education at Michigan State University with a certification in teaching secondary education. I've taught many subjects, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus I and calculus II.
My teaching philosophy focuses on helping you become a better mathematician. If you can learn how to think like a mathematician, you will not only find success in the class you're in, but will be with you for the remainder of your journey through mathematics.
