About Andrew
I graduated from a four-year university called Azusa Pacific University in southern California with a dual degree in Finance and Applied Math with an emphasis in Actuarial Science. During my time at Azusa Pacific University, I worked as the primary math tutor and tutored hundreds of students over my tenure at the university. The levels of these students ranged from intro levels to graduate programs. I also volunteered at a local school and provided tutoring services for elementary students.

The subjects I tutor all have to do with numbers and computations, so I prefer to break down complicated problems into manageable pieces that can be solved more easily. I also tutor through the use of processes and helpful tips/tricks that can be used on most problems of similar nature. As for lesson plans, I enjoy having the student explain to me what they need help with and provide examples of what they are struggling with. After that I ask them to explain how they would solve the problem or as far they can get or guess. From that I can gather their way of thinking and use that to provide as helpful of a session as possible. I have experience tutoring levels from elementary to graduate students.
