About María Isabel
I am an English teacher for Spanish students and a Spanish teacher for foreign audiences (preferably English speakers). I have a degree in English Studies from the University of Seville and I have a Master's Degree in Teaching English for secondary, FP and Language Schools. Regarding the teaching of Spanish, I have a double degree from the University of Seville and the Instituto Cervantes that accredits me to teach my mother tongue. I have several years of experience giving private lessons in both languages. My specialty is two-way teaching: Spanish for English speaking students and English for Spanish speaking students. --- I am an English teacher for Spanish speakers and also a Spanish teacher for English-speaking ones. I have a degree on English Studies By the University of Seville and a Master in Teaching of Secondary School Education, Vocational Training and Languages Teaching by the same university. Furthermore, regarding the teaching of my mother tongue (Spanish), I have a double major in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language by the University of Seville and Instituto Cervantes. Therefore, I am authorized to teach both languages at all levels of learning. I have many years of experience teaching both languages. My specialization is to teach English or Spanish to both English and Spanish speakers.

My methodology focuses mainly on the communicative approach. The main objective of a language is its communicative use, so in my classes I try to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for the student to express themselves without fear or shame. Gamification is also a technique widely used in my classes, with the intention of acquiring the language almost unconsciously thanks to its playful nature. However, despite these two main methodological lines, grammatical explanations also play a fundamental role in each language class, and will be provided regularly. --- My methodology focuses mainly on the communicative approach. The main goal of a language is its use in communication, therefore, I try to provide a relaxed atmosphere in my lessons so students feel comfortable and not afraid to use the target language. Gamification is also a technique highly used in my lessons. It helps to acquire a language almost unconsciously thanks to the ludic character of this technique. Nevertheless, apart from these two methodologies, explanations about grammar play also an important role in every language lesson, and they will be offered regularly.
