Hi! I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology, major in Microbiology, with a passion for science and education. I enjoy making Biology and Microbiology easier to understand by connecting scientific concepts to real-life examples. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, build confidence, and enjoy learning science. # My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe science is easier to understand when it is connected to real-life experiences. As a Microbiology graduate, I use a student-centered approach where I explain concepts in simple and relatable terms before introducing more technical details. I use visual aids, examples, discussions, practice questions, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging. I also adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s age, learning pace, and level of understanding.
# A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics and a discussion of the student’s learning goals. I then introduce the new topic using simple explanations and real-life examples. Afterward, we work through examples or activities together to check understanding. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain concepts in their own words. The lesson ends with a short recap and practice questions to reinforce what they learned.
# What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What sets me apart is my ability to make scientific concepts understandable without losing their accuracy. As a Microbiology graduate, I can connect biology and microbiology concepts to everyday life, health, food, and the environment. I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain a concept in different ways until the student feels comfortable with it. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to help them understand *why* the answer is correct.
# Who My Lessons Are For
I offer Biology and Microbiology lessons for learners of different ages and academic levels, from beginners and elementary or high school students to college students. I can help with general Biology, introductory Microbiology, laboratory concepts, exam preparation, assignments, and review sessions. Lessons can be adjusted according to the student’s specific needs, whether they need help understanding the basics, preparing for an exam, or exploring science beyond the classroom.
