About Veronika
I am Veronika, a recent IB graduate with an international school background and experience studying in a multilingual environment. I speak Russian and Ukrainian natively, English fluently, and have also studied in English throughout my education. This helps me explain ideas clearly to students who may be learning in English as a second language. I am patient and easy to talk to, and I understand how stressful schoolwork and exams can feel. I look forward to helping students with different backgrounds.

As a recent IB graduate who completed Math AA HL, I understand how challenging IB Math can feel from a student’s perspective. My tutoring approach is practical and exam-focused. I help students understand the method behind each topic, then apply it to IB-style questions using past papers and resources such as RevisionVillage and many more.
A typical lesson would start by identifying the student’s current difficulty, such as a specific topic or past paper problem. I then explain the concept step by step, work through examples together, and help the student practice similar questions independently. When useful, I also focus on calculator techniques such as Numworks or TI-Nspire, common exam mistakes, and how to structure answers for marks.
What sets me apart is that I have recently been through the IB myself, so I know what the exams and expectations are like. I explain things in a student-friendly way and can share study strategies that helped me during the programme.
My lessons are best suited for IB Math AA SL students, pre-IB students, and younger secondary school students who want support with maths.
