I've taught middle school and high school in Menlo Park, CA, Palo Alto, CA and Los Gatos, CA. I've taught college courses at UC Santa Cruz and at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
I'm professional and approach my tutoring services as a vital service to my students, enabling and empowering them to master the skills fundamental to academic success, including
-Building step-by-step processes to efficiently approach each assignment
-Reading for both subject comprehension and retention of key concepts that will appear on exams and in written assignments

About the lesson

My lessons are fun and engaging and my lesson plans are built around each individual's objectives and personal learning style. I incorporate visual aids, and specialize in breaking down complex processes like composing an essay or answering a challenging math problem into simple, concrete steps so that students master the processes necessary for repeated success in all their schoolwork.
I primarily tutor students grade 6-12 and students in their first two years of their undergraduate studies. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and was a National Merit Commended Scholar and offer advanced methods for success on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT and various AP subject tests.
