About Richard
After studying BMus at Sunderland University, Richard went on to teach at Newcastle College, teaching guitar lessons, music theory and ensemble classes.
He then started to teach music privately in the north east of England and played in local bands including a Jazz quintet that was supported by Jazz North.
In 2023, Richard finished his Masters in Composition from the University of Chichester.
