About Siobhán
I have over 10 years' experience tutoring music theory. I have in-depth theory knowledge from an academic-based Bachelor of Music. I am passionate about theory and helping students gain confidence in their ability to understand and utilise music theory, whether that is for their own studies or to further their professional skills. I prepare students for ABRSM theory exams and have helped students achieve impressive results.

Music theory is a very useful tool, but it can also be very daunting and overwhelming to approach. Lessons with me are well-structured (using the ABRSM grading system where applicable), and take care of all subjects required to have a sound understanding of theory. I help students who are studying for theory exams, GCSE/A-level exams and adults who are looking to improve their musical skills either for professional or personal purposes. In each theory lesson I introduce a new topic, give exercises on the topic and review. There will also be ample opportunity for you to request extra help on areas of difficulty.
