About Tasman
Hello, aspiring dancers!
I'm Tasman, a passionate and dedicated ballet instructor with over 12 years of experience in the world of classical ballet. I've had the privilege of training under renowned ballet masters at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet and have performed with Yacobson Ballet Theatre in Saint Petersburg, Russia for the past ten years as a soloist.
Now, I'm excited to share my knowledge and love for ballet with students of all ages and skill levels.

Teaching Style:
My teaching approach is rooted in fostering a strong foundation in Vaganova methodology while encouraging self-expression and creativity. I believe that every student is unique, and I tailor my lessons to meet individual learning needs while working within the Vaganova framework. Whether you're a beginner taking your first plié or an experienced dancer aiming to refine your artistry, I'm here to guide you on your ballet journey.
What to Expect:
In my classes, you can expect a supportive and nurturing environment where we'll focus on proper alignment, flexibility, strength, and grace. We'll work on building a solid ballet vocabulary, from the basic positions to more complex movements. Through structured exercises and choreography, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your own capabilities.
Achievements:
My career has been marked by extraordinary experiences on some of the world's most renowned stages. Having performed at both the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres on a regular basis.
Additionally, I'm honored to have received a nomination for the prestigious title of Best Male Role in the esteemed Golden Mask Festival. Having worked with the likes of Shcheglov, Ruzimatov, Makhalina, Sarafanov, Batalov, and many more, their teachings have enriched my artistry and deepened my understanding of the nuances that make ballet such an incredible art form.
I'm excited to share the invaluable insights garnered from these remarkable experiences. My journey from these illustrious stages to the classroom is driven by the desire to nurture the next generation of dancers and impart the wisdom acquired from my remarkable mentors.
