About Maryam
I am currently a supply teaching assistant, working across primary schools in Manchester and have experience teaching small groups. I also have previous experience as a tutor, where I provided one to one English Language and Literature lessons with particular emphasis on exam techniques and essay planning. As a tutor, I would be keen to create exciting ways for pupils to engage in their learning. I believe my adaptability, empathy and willingness to learn will provide a strong foundation for becoming an outstanding private tutor.

I give affordable online private English lessons at SATs, GCSE and A-Level for £20 per hour. I will adapt my teaching techniques to the student's learner style to meet their needs and guide them in approaching their learning. The lessons are student centred so they can think and learn independently without heavily relying on me to do the work for them. I can also provide any advice on exam techniques including essay planning.
