About Lydia

I just finished up my Master's degree in Classics at the University of Cambridge, where I researched Arabic adaptations of ancient Greek sources. I have learned how to balance high-quality research and time management, and have built impactful relationships with peers and faculty members. Now, I want to share my tips as a mentor to you!

At Harvard, where I completed my undergrad, I studied Arabic, French, Ancient Greek, Latin, and the Mediterranean region from ancient times to modern day. I anticipate a lifetime as a student, a teacher, and a traveler. If any of these subjects or experiences speak to you, I'd be delighted if you got in touch!

About the lesson

My tutoring ethos involves curation for each student to best let your voice as an enterprising writer and scholar shine through. We begin lessons by tackling your most pressing concerns about your current project or revision, and work out to discover long-term solutions and skills to help you improve at your pace.
Typical lessons are an hour in length, but can be adapted to your scheduling needs.
I tutored Harvard undergraduates in high-level, academic writing for three years, and have found that meeting the student where they're at and encouraging their potential is the best path forward.
My lessons are best suited for students age 14-21.
