Philosophy is an incredibly unique subject. In my mind this requires a unique teaching and learning style. Philosophy asks for both an open mind as well as an adaptable mindset to varying situations. My passion for teaching has been a constant throughout my academic journey. I firmly believe that genuine comprehension, particularly in the realm of philosophy, is achieved through meaningful conversations. This of course involves not only rationalising one's own viewpoint, but also being able to positively break down and articulate someone else's. Debating is a key element within my teaching style. Challenging arguments reveal the path of one's thinking and the influences that grab them the most. Recognising and appreciating diverse ideas and viewpoints is integral to fostering a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Consequently, this will be a dedicated focus point within our lessons as the actual content is. Engaging in thoughtful discourse not only facilitates a deeper comprehension for the learner but also leads to a continual unravelling of the subject matter. Thank you for considering my application. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm for teaching and my academic background to contribute positively to the learning experience.

Perfect! Harry helped me apply to Cambridge for a PGCert in philosophy..he really went that extra mile and basically I would not had been accepted without him. If you are looking for a tutor Harry is your man !
- Howard showed incredible initiative and interest with the topics and lesson plans I made for him. Philosophy is not an easy subject to be plunged into headfirst, however, he took the challenge head on. Howard's reward for this was a well deserved merit from none other than Cambridge University.
