About Marni
I have two Masters Degrees in Sociology and I hold a Bachelors degree in Anthropology and Archaeology. I am currently working toward my PhD in Sociology at University of Illinois at Chicago where I focus on racism in social justice organizations. I also conduct research at the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy. Prior to my graduate work I worked in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History as a docent and in various social justice nonprofits/movements for five years. I also have attended three Archaeological field schools, one at the graduate level, and am trained in Anthropological theory and methods.
