I’m a graduate student from UBC with a major in Biology offering mathematics, physics, and chemistry tutoring up to grade 12. Psychology, biology and English tutoring up to first-year University.

About Anahita
I graduated as a Biology Major from University of British Columbia, and I am aspiring to pursue medicine. I have loved school for as long as I can remember and enjoy working with my peers to help them achieve their academic goals. I believe that every individual can excel in any subject with the aid of a passionate instructor willing to tailor lessons to the student's needs.
I have a wide range of academic interests, including but not limited to biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, English, and math.
I am also an award-winning filmmaker with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, a photographer, a women's rights activist, and First Responder. I also have some experience doing field research on Sea Turtles!
I know the path of academia can be challenging, so I hope to use my resources and experience to set my students up for success and help them pursue their interests inside and outside school.

Every individual is unique, as is their learning style. I intend to adjust my teaching methodology to fit the needs of my students. Thus, I'd like to spend time getting to know them and their goals better. Then, I intend to set goal-oriented lessons; each split into three-time blocks: Learning new material, practicing the material, and addressing any questions or gaps in understanding.
Furthermore, I plan on setting up a "Question Box," an online platform accessible for students to share questions that arise between lessons. I will view the posted questions before each lesson and tailor the lesson to address all learning gaps before we move on to new content.
