My teaching philosophy is rooted in two core principles: Skill Development and Adaptation. To achieve this, I employ a variety of resources including Worksheets, Class Tasks, and Past Papers, Fostering Analytical Thinking alongside Subject Knowledge. I work with students including college students, as well as those preparing for school entrance exams and standardised tests such as GCSEs – (or 'O' Levels), A/S-level, A-level. Transparency and communication are key aspects of my teaching approach. I believe in providing regular feedback to parents, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and academic journey. • Q:When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

During my school and college years, I frequently found myself explaining various concepts to my colleagues and friends. Sometimes they came to me for their queries rather than going to the teacher. I realized I could do well as a tutor and started teaching along with college studies and found out that it made me happy when I spent the whole day teaching.
It never felt like a job; rather, it was fulfilling and energizing.

I perceived my student and me to be an exciting team that always wanted to conquer something fabulous. As my students and their parents started referring me to others a lot and witnessing my students' growing interest in learning brought me great happiness, so I decided to pursue private tutoring full-time.
  • Q: Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I take pleasure in teaching a range of subjects, including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, and Hindi including Science & Spirituality, Stress Management, Personality Development Courses.
Sometimes, I aid students with their school tasks or help them grasp concepts they find challenging, such as reports or presentations. I enjoy incorporating engaging elements into the learning process, like discussing experiments, offering examples, and encouraging interactive discussions.

-In the realm of Physics, I particularly relish teaching topics like Kinematics, Newton laws of motion, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current etc.

-Within Mathematics, I find joy in explaining concepts such as Matrices, Determinants, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Algebra.

-For chemistry, I relish explaining topics chemical bonding, stoichiometry, kinetics, and thermodynamics. I find the concepts of chemical bonding and equilibrium particularly fascinating of Organic chemistry.

-For Personality Development, I feel ecstasy presenting some presentations, Group discussion. I found people struggling with direct conversation with group of people but I received some tips from my teacher, i want to share it with you all that will make you feel confident.
  • Q:What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

To be a successful tutor I believe certain qualities are clarity of explanation, adaptability, and genuine passion for the subjects.
Patience is particularly vital when assisting students who encounter difficulties with specific concepts, and clear explanations help students understand complex ideas more easily. Enthusiasm, patience, friendliness, respectfulness towards students, dedication, and compassion are all excellent attributes that make one a good tutor.
He should be able to let his students improve their quality of knowledge and become able to go through the difficulties they found in their path.
  • Q:Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

I've been fortunate to have encountered several inspiring instructors who ignited my passion for mathematics, Physics and chemistry. One teacher stands out for his contagious enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to his students' success. He possessed a unique talent for demystifying complex topics, profoundly shaping my teaching style. His encouragement motivated me to become an educator who nurtures curiosity and critical thinking in my students.

Equally influential was my father & brother, who served as a guiding light in my life. He fostered my love for learning and nurtured my curiosity from an early age. He believed in simplicity, and I also believe in the same. I am profoundly inspired by his hard work and unwavering commitment to his profession with exceptional values, which I believe are desperately needed in this day and age.
  • Q:Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

While I was having school days, I was once engaged in gossip with a classmate when the teacher unexpectedly called me to the front and presented me with a question on Circular Motion to solve on the whiteboard, with the task of ensuring all students understood it. Despite feeling nervous and bewildered, I gathered my courage and began to solve the problem while explaining it to my classmates.

At the end the teacher responded with astonishment and praise, acknowledging the way I explained and my approach to solve. I too was not able to accept how it happened. How I did it...

One thing was that I used to help my friends in class with questions they were having doubts about. Most probably that only gave me experiences on how to explain nicely...

BUT BUT BUT it was really very surprising to me.

This experience taught me valuable lessons. I learned that extending a helping hand not only gives happiness but also leads to unique solutions & experience. It helped me to know my Skills & Nature and develop strategies to keep my passion as teaching students. Moreover, it reinforced the importance of maintaining focus and confidence in one's abilities, even in challenging situations. Ultimately, I discovered that natural skill can be both effective and enjoyable.
  • Q:What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Common difficulties that students often face in mathematics, physics and chemistry include understanding abstract concepts, applying theoretical knowledge to practical problems, and overcoming test anxiety. To address these challenges, I employ various teaching strategies such as visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving activities.

In my teaching approach to Physics, I occasionally spend extra time explaining concepts if I'm not sure that my student has understood Physics being a vast subject. Similarly, in Mathematics, I may include steps that might seem unnecessary, but it makes my student understand that each step of writing makes sure that we are not making silly mistakes or missing points.
  • Q:Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

Teaching is not just a profession for me; it's my passion. I enjoy exploring creative methods to make learning more enjoyable for my students.

Moreover, I find immense fulfilment in helping students develop a deeper appreciation for these disciplines and empowering them to achieve their academic goals. I am continually inspired by the transformative power of education. Whether it involves igniting interest in a hesitant student or witnessing that illuminating "eureka" instant of comprehension.

The journey with my students becomes truly fulfilling when they demonstrate genuine interest in mastering the subject, driven not only by the desire to excel academically but also by a thirst for knowledge.
  • Q: What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?

When I teach, I try to put myself in the shoes of my students as well. I take into account his prior experiences with the subject and anything else that helps me connect with them. By combining expertise with empathy and enthusiasm, I aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning in my students and equip them with the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond. Likewise I try to tell my students how happy I become when they do well in my class.

Together, my student and I form a team, which I believe transforms me into a Superprof and my student a Superstudent.
