About Wayne
I love to inspire my students to grow as musicians daily. I love to see them develop into successful teaching and performing artists themselves.
I have 40 years of experience as a musician, much of that as a teacher. I take my responsibilities very seriously. I like to be calm and steady with my students. Showing consistencies in thinking is and teaching methods is crucial.
The eight core characteristics of professionalism are: Competence, Knowledge, Conscientiousness, Integrity, Respect, Emotional Intelligence, Appropriateness, and Confidence. I teach from all of these attributes with every lesson I give to each student.

I use proven teaching methods used by instructors in the best music academies and conservatories; things such as breaking lesson material down into very small, easily recognizable pieces of information. Teaching time management as an important tool to learn these pieces of information is crucial.
My lesson plans include and address music theory, performance and lifelong learning at their core. I like to use practice schedules with my students so they know exactly what to practice and for how long making progress easy and the time it will take plain.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my passion for the material and my teaching style.
My lessons are for anyone who wants to progress learning music theory and guitar in the shortest amount of time possible.
