I am a graduate from Williams College, where I worked as a writing center tutor. In this position, I helped students from across different departments--English, History, Biology, etc.--brainstorm, outline, and craft essays.
In the summer, I work as a professional college essay coach, helping students write their college applications.
I am currently a master's student at the University of Cambridge.

As a graduate of the top liberal arts college in America, Williams College, what sets me apart as a tutor is my broad skill range.
My teaching method is tailored to the student, we will work together to find a schedule that works best for you.
A typical lesson with me will start with goal setting: what do we want to accomplish together in the session? An essay outline? A certain skill set? We will then work to accomplish this during the session. I will follow up afterwards with an overview of what happened and, if applicable, steps for the student after the session.
I have experience with high school and college age students, but am happy to tutor younger children as well.
