About Stevie
I am a fourth year teacher who currently works at Boston Preparatory Charter Public School with 6th grade students. I worked for three years, before that, at Breed Middle School in Lynn Massachusetts. I have taught English Language Arts for all of these years, co-teaching with Special Educators for two and an ESL teacher for one. This has provided me experience with tailoring lessons to support students of a variety of learning needs. I have a talent for creating interactive and engaging lessons using technology and am someone who always strives to improve my lessons for the benefit of my students. I am not afraid to hear what is working vs. what is not and what you, specifically, need from me to feel successful! I also work to empower my students with the knowledge they need to understand what the curriculum standards and standardized testing requirements mean.
