About Amanda
I am passionate historian who sees a place for learning about history. This passion has led me from my small city in Texas to New York City and Las Vegas along with exploring history along the way. My work and research history on the Cold War is my focus, but I love history overall. If there is a subject I am not familiar, I will find a way to make it engaging. I enjoy using creative methods to learn or even apply history. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Master’s of Art in history in 2021. My undergraduate degree in University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University in 2016.

My lessons would focus on the connections we have between our history and our future. I will use a myriad of methods/outlets to reflect on Cold War and general history. I will demonstrate how history is viewed through the lens of everyday life. I will also use creative projects to connect history, culture, and the student.
