About Alex
My name is Alex and I am currently a grad student at Loyola University Chicago. I recently graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill, where I was a varsity cross-country and track athlete. During this time, I learned valuable time management and study skills. I graduated with a 3.99 GPA and was the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the year. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I tutored several fellow student-athletes through their challenging science courses.

My tutoring approach focuses on understanding underlying concepts rather than memorizing. This approach gives students the skillset to solve future problems on their own.
A typical lesson plan will involve going over a given concept, and then working through related practice problems.
I have experience working with college level organic chemistry and biology students, but can tailor lessons to the high school level as well.

Alex has helped me through with all of my chemistry classes in college. She is very knowledgeable about organic chemistry and general chemistry subjects. She explains things clearly and will patiently work with you until you understand. It is obvious that she loves helping people and loves the subject of chemistry. She is also very pleasant, easy to talk to, and a wonderful person. I would definitely recommend her if you need some orgo help!!
