About Tallis
Hi, my name’s Tal. I live in Perth, Australia and I’ve produced music since 2009 working with artists such as Joe Ford and Tina Says. When I was first introduced to Ableton Live it was incredibly daunting and overwhelming. The only way of learning at the time was early YouTube videos and all I wanted was someone to show me how it worked. I had to learn everything the hard way, but now that I’m at a level where I’m capable of helping others, I want to give back and help you turn what’s in your head or your hand into something you can be proud of. So you can say to yourself. I made that!

Music Production Tutoring – Ableton Live (60-Minute Lessons)
Each session is tailored to meet your specific needs, whether you're just starting out or are an experienced producer looking to refine your skills. My lessons are catered specifically to solve the challenges you are facing and help develop your creative voice in music production.
For Beginners: We’ll start with the basics of Ableton Live—learning how to navigate the software, use essential tools, and build your first track from the ground up. I'll guide you step-by-step through the process of creating beats, melodies, and full on arrangements.
For Intermediate and Advanced Producers: I’ll focus on more advanced topics such as sound design, mixing, arrangement, and track polish. Whether you're looking to streamline your workflow or enhance your production techniques, you’ll get personalized feedback to take your music to the next level.
Lesson Structure:
5–10 min: Listening/Feedback of your work and any specific challenges you’re facing.
40–45 min: In-depth work on the technique or project you're focused on.
5–10 min: Final tips, and steps for helping you in between sessions.
Learning Space:
All sessions take place online through Discord, providing a seamless and interactive learning experience. We can share screens, collaborate in real-time, and discuss your projects in depth. It’s a flexible and convenient way to get the most out of your lessons, no matter where you’re located.
