About Joshua
I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso and currently work as a Teaching Assistant at El Paso Community College. Having recently been a student, I understand the pressures and needs of students and aim to work with the student abilities and interest. I love nature in all its aspects and like to incorporate story telling in my lessons. This helps students retain and create connections that go beyond the cut and dry of normal lectures or textbooks readings.

I incorporate natural history into my lessons. This helps in creating a narrative that students can then contextualize key concepts of biology with. Lesson plans are based off this and can allow for several chapters/topics to be covered in one go.
