Samyia is a long-time friend of mine, and she is amazing! She is so sweet and kind to kids that it's inspiring. I love that her teaching style not only improves students' comprehension skills but also encourages them to want to learn more. I remember Samyia taking ownership and becoming the girls' cheerleading coach. Samyia is not one to scream and shout, but she volunteered because she couldn't bear to see her students quit on something they love. That goes to show how amazing she is!

We have been friends since high school so I’ve seen her excel in her academics by any means necessary and she has even helped me pass tests. She is very encouraging and provides multiple techniques to cater to a variety of learners. I can say she is dedicated to educating and improving young minds and motivating others to achieve the unimaginable.

Samyia has been a long time friend. I’ve been able to see her grow from high school all the way to life after college. For the last two years, I’ve been able to see her grow as a teacher. Throughout her first two years of teaching, she’s been able to help her students get on grade level and each year almost all of her students pass the end of year testing. Samyia is a wonderful person who truly admires teaching students and being able to be a helping hand.
