About Laura
My name is Laura Hunter, and I have a Graphic Arts in Multimedia Associate’s Degree from Southwest Community College and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis. During high school, I used Photoshop and video editing. I have over a decade of experience making photo manipulations, and I used to make fan videos for books and TV shows. I also have a YouTube channel. I was hired by a local News network, where I taught myself Adobe Premiere Pro. I also began to write stories for the air and our website. As someone who self-taught how to use programs and went through formal training, I’m in a unique position to help you learn programs and develop your ability to do graphic design.

I’m all about hands-on learning. I take my students through the process of step by step on how to accomplish each task and then give them time to work on it themselves. During the tutoring session, I’ll be there to help them, and they can contact me if they have any questions outside of the tutoring session. Before our first lesson, we’ll discuss what goals you have and how to bring them to life. I’ll arrange different lessons and ways to test your growing knowledge and experience.
