About Elliot
Hi, I’m Elliot, a dedicated tutor focused on helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve measurable academic improvement.
With both my parents being teachers, I understand that effective learning comes from clarity, consistency, and support. My approach is structured but adaptable, ensuring each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs, learning style, and goals.
I take the time to explain concepts clearly and thoroughly, using step-by-step methods and guided practice to ensure students not only complete their work correctly but also understand the reasoning behind it.
I have years of experience supporting students across a range of levels, including primary and secondary school. Whether students are working to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen foundational skills, I adapt my teaching to meet their specific academic needs.

My approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence, understanding, and independent problem-solving skills. I know that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs, learning pace, and goals.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is tailored to the student's current level and focuses on strengthening areas of weakness while building on existing knowledge.
Lessons are suitable for all students up to 16, including those preparing for assessments and exams. I welcome students of different abilities and learning backgrounds and work closely with each student to help them achieve their personal academic goals.
