About Ayana
I tutored professionally in the past, and tutored my two younger sisters throughout their middle and high school journeys. I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and philosophy, where writing essays were a large part of the curriculum. I took AP classes all throughout high school in various subjects, and maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout my college career.

I always spend the first lesson getting to understand the student's learning style, and create my lesson plans with each individual student in mind. I teach first, and then I incorporate fun games and activities into the lesson plan to engage the learner. I always review what we previously worked on in the last session so the learner can maintain their knowledge, be test-ready, and feel confident in the material.
