About Aanya
Hello! I’m Aanya, and I’m excited to help you achieve your learning goals. My approach to tutoring is all about creating a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material. I use a combination of clear explanations, real-world examples, and plenty of practice to help you truly comprehend the content. I believe that learning should be interactive, so I encourage students to actively participate in lessons.
I tailor each lesson to your specific needs, whether you’re looking to build a strong foundation in a subject or aiming to achieve top marks. I aim to make learning as enjoyable as it is effective, focusing on both your understanding and your confidence.
Each lesson typically lasts about an hour, but I can adjust the length depending on your preferences. I work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to those in years 8 and 9.

What is my technique?
I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. My teaching methodology combines clear explanations, interactive learning, and practical examples to make the material relatable and retainable. I encourage students to ask questions and work through challenges and real life applications, helping them build confidence and develop critical thinking skills.
What does a typical lesson look like?
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although I can adjust the duration based on the student’s preferences, learning goals and personal needs. I find that this time frame allows us to cover material in depth without becoming overwhelming and deviating concentration.
Qualifications:
Recent graduate from the MacRobertson Girls High School, and was part of advanced maths classes throughout years 9 and 10, and completing the IB diploma in years 11 and 12.
