About Emily
I am a 27-year-old lady who has a passion for learning and education. I am from the state of Arkansas in the US. I most recently worked in an educational program for the last 5 years helping high school students earn college credit through innovative avenues like online testing. This position also included student advising and video meetings with international students on the enrollment process. I grew up traveling and meeting all different kinds of people. This has made me interested in other cultures and languages. Therefore, if I could help others pursue their dreams by learning English I am all for that! My degrees include a BA in Communications from TESU and Public Administration (Government) Masters's degree from Regent University. My Master's degree I will complete in May 2023.

The teaching techniques and methods that will be used are fun and keep students engaged. For example, I like to use visual aids like PowerPoints. What will also be used are fun review games to keep what the student has learned fresh in their mind. Lastly, I like to get to know my students and what their personal interests are, and what they like to do. This helps me develop lesson plans that are exciting and meaningful to them while they improve their English skills. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.
