I believe in explicit teaching. I stand with the mindset of Practising more will lead to desirable results. Set realistic and achievable goals. By setting attainable goals, one will feel motivated. One should not feel demoralised if goal is not achieved, instead work with teacher and parents, on how we can break it down to make it more easy for a child to achieve the goal. I believe with effective scaffolding and positive reinforcement will motivate a child to become a hardworking, resilient and most importantly, to develop the liking and happiness to studying.
