About Juana
I communicate with my students through Google Classroom, email, and by phone. I use other online platforms that helped me to deliver my lesson during remote learning such as Canva, Edpuzzle, Boom Cards, Duolingo, Google Classroom, and Seesaw. In addition, I have taught in my native country for a period of 5 years.

My name is Juana Paulino. I have taught Spanish as a foreign language for more than seventeen years. I have a New Jersey Standard Certificate for teaching Spanish K-12th. Currently, I am teaching Spanish I, II, and Spanish Art, and Culture from grades 9th-12th. These teaching experiences provide me with knowledge of various Spanish education materials, such as specific work elements Spanish grammar, spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary, and composition; guiding students on conversational Spanish; teaching students about Spanish language literature, culture, and history; creating engaging lesson plans; planning classroom activities to motivate students; preparing visual aids; grading homework and exams; coaching students individually or as a group; communicating with parents and other teachers about a student’s progress. I have experience teaching remotely. Covid-19 not only taught us that community is essential, but technology too. In order to maintain students' engagement with the lesson, I use it to schedule classroom lesson sessions, via Zoom or Google Meet or video-lesson.
