About Me

As a qualified teacher with experience working with students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, I understand that every child learns differently. Some children need a little extra help to grasp challenging concepts, others benefit from greater challenge, and many simply need the confidence to believe in their own abilities.

I take the time to get to know each student, understand what motivates them and identify the areas where they need the most support. My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging, while ensuring that lessons remain purposeful and focused on making progress.

Alongside my teaching experience, my background in pastoral leadership has given me a strong understanding of the importance of building positive relationships, supporting wellbeing and helping young people overcome barriers to learning. I want both students and their families to feel confident that they are in a supportive environment where progress, effort and individual needs really matter.

Why I Love Tutoring

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident in their learning and proud of what they can achieve. Sometimes, a little extra time, a different explanation or a more personalised approach can make all the difference.

Tutoring allows me to give each student the individual attention they may not always receive in a busy classroom. Whether your child needs help strengthening their understanding, preparing for exams, improving their grades or developing greater confidence, I will tailor lessons to their needs and work at a pace that helps them succeed.

My aim is to make learning feel manageable, rewarding and enjoyable, while helping students develop the knowledge, independence and resilience they need to move forward.

I want families to feel reassured that their child is being supported by an experienced teacher who genuinely cares about their progress. Above all, I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, motivated and ready to take their next steps in learning.

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions are friendly, engaging and tailored to each individual student. As a qualified teacher, I understand that every student learns differently, and I adapt my approach to help them build confidence, overcome difficulties and achieve their goals.

Whether we’re working towards GCSE exams or developing a stronger understanding of a subject, I combine clear explanations, interactive learning and targeted practice to make progress feel achievable. My aim is for every student to feel supported, challenged and proud of what they can accomplish.
