About Tony
Gangmin Zou (Tony), Physician. He completed his Medical School education in 1985 and his medical residency (Physician) in 1989 in China. Then he has completed his Ph.D. in 2001 from Paris VI University in France and postdoctoral studies at the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the USA. He once served as a Scientific Review Officer (SRO) at NIH before he moved to Shanghai in 2009. He was the professor and principal investigator (PI) at Shanghai Cancer Institute, and Shanghai Institute for Pediatrics Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. He has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals, including PNAS, Blood, Oncogene, and Stem Cells, etc, His accomplishment includes that he identifying the relevance between Pu.1 level and early B cell development, and Redox factor Ape1 in stem cell differentiation, etc. Currently, his funded research is focusing on stem cells in Regenerative medicine. He is the Editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Translational Medicine. He is also a Visiting Professor at Chaminade University in Honolulu, USA, since 2021. He was the founder and Conference Chair for the 1st and 2nd International Conference of Translational Medicine in Hawaii (2019, and 2020).

I studied medical courses (Anatomy and physiology, Histology, Medical Genetics, Medical Microbiology) at Gannan Medical University, I also did a Ph.D. study in Endocrinology and Cellular Biology at Paris VI University.
I did cancer biology research at University and Johns Hopkins University. Recently I was a visiting professor to teach the course of General Biology, and Microbiology at Chaminade University Honolulu.
