The usual structure of the class will begin with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by the introduction of new music theory and/or vocal concepts through a combination of verbal explanation, visual aids, and practical examples.
For vocal lessons, warm-up exercises will be conducted at the start, followed by training in vocal techniques, breathing, pitch control, and repertoire practice.
Summarize the key takeaways from each class and assign relevant homework or practice exercises to reinforce learning in both theory and vocals.
Tailor lessons to accommodate different learning styles, whether auditory, visual, or kinesthetic. Relate theoretical concepts and vocal techniques to real-world musical contexts to foster deeper understanding and appreciation.
Implement a balanced assessment strategy, including regular quizzes, vocal evaluations, and assignments. Whenever possible, integrate theory with practical application—both on musical instruments and through vocal performance.
